Tina Brown, FAADOM, is a native of sunny Southern California, born and raised in San Diego and brings with her over 30 years of experience in the dental field. Tina worked as a Registered Dental Assistant for 10 years focusing on the patient needs, comfort and fears as well as assisting the doctor at chair side. Tina transitioned to the administrative area of the dental office and has spent the last 20+ years centered on streamlining all aspects of the front office from telephone technique, scheduling, treatment planning, huddles, insurance, accounts receivables and protocols to becoming the office manager.
Tina regularly attends continuing education courses on new trends, technologies, social media for the dental office, marketing as well as team focus and ultimate patient care just to name a few. She does this through online webinars, telephone conferences, seminars, conventions and annual conferences. Throughout her career Tina has brought back to the team and her fellow colleagues the information she has gained and teaches them with passion that you must apply to enhance. Tina is a life time member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), the Speaking and Consulting Network (SCN) and participates in Dentistry From The Heart (A community service organization).
Tina was the SME (source material expert) for Ashworth College in creating an accredited online course for Dental Front Office Administration.
Tina received her Fellowship through the American Association of Dental Office Managers in 2011 and is working on her second Fellowship with the Speaking and Consulting Network. She has written several articles for AADOM, Dentistry IQ and Dental Assisting Digest. She is part of the California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). Tina attended San Diego State University and graduated from Pacific College of Dental Assistants with her x-ray license and Registered Dental Assistants license.
When Tina is not diligently working with dental practices around the country, she loves traveling with her husband, going to the theater, fine dining with friends and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
