Hello there! Thank you for your interest in the webinar “How Many Felonies Did You Commit Today?” with our special guest Theresa Sheppard. Our mission at Dental Practice Enhancement is to be a solutions provider to the practitioners of the dental industry. We’ve worked closely with dental teams that unknowingly commit clinical fraud. Most people have no clue at all that some of their day-to-day practices could land them in prison. We sure don’t want to see this happen to you! This is why we are providing you with this valuable information.

These are examples of insurance fraud — insurance FRAUD is a FELONY.

? Change dates to accommodate a patient’s benefits

? Waive co-payments and deductibles ? Change a procedure code to a “covered” service Healthcare fraud doesn’t need to be intentional to be prosecuted and auxiliaries are NOT exempt from prosecution. Insurance fraud is a felony punishable by up to five years in state prison and a $50,000 fine.
